I’ve never been so horrified

A few months ago, my friend asked me to watch her dog for a few weeks. She was looking for a new apartment, and having trouble finding the right one. Meanwhile, she was living with her Mom. Her Mom didn’t want the dog living in the house, because of the two cats. I offered to house Barracuda the dog, for a few weeks. It’s now been three months and counting, and Barracuda still lives here. He’s a cute and loveable black, mastiff-pitbull mix. He is friendly, cuddly, and very smart. The only problem with Barracuda, is that he is not neutered. He’s been here for awhile, and he is starting to mark his scent on everything in my house. I don’t know what to do, but I’m getting fed up and completely frustrated. My house smells like dog marking every day, and I am constantly cleaning the floors. I’ve had to wash and iron the curtains on three separate occasions. Yesterday was the worst day of them all. The HVAC system broke down in the afternoon. While we waited for the HVAC repairman, the house got warmer and warmer. With no ventilation, the house really started to smell like dog urine. When the HVAC repairman arrived, I was embarrassed to let him in the house. The whole placed like a pet shelter. I’ve never been more horrified in my life. It was a complete nightmare. After the HVAC system was fixed, I called my friend to complain. She apologized for the problems and said she was working on a solution. I don’t know what to do, but this dog has got to go!
