I didn’t fall for the HVAC worker’s tricks

When I started having all sorts of issues with the cooling equipment the other week, I wanted to get a Heating, Ventilation and A/C business out instantaneously to take a look at the setback.

  • The issue I was having wasn’t anything especially serious, the cooling equipment just was not blowing any frosty air.

My hubby was going to manage the arrival of the cooling equipment professional originally but then he had some necessary stuff that came up at work and so he asked me if I would be willing to reschedule the appointment with the heating and cooling system supplier. However, I didn’t want to reschedule and so instead I told him that I would take care of everything myself. The cooling specialist arrived on a Tuesday exactly as planned and when he arrived he went to look at the heating and cooling equipment. He spent a short amount of time briefly looking it over and he didn’t take anything apart. He then told me I needed a pretty good amount of work done on it and started listing significant prices for each thing he named. I didn’t agree with him and was quite certain he was trying to charge me for services I didn’t require. It caused an argument that ended with me making him leave my property. I later was able to get another opinion from a totally different Heating, Ventilation and A/C provider and was told my cooling equipment was fantastic and all it needed was some freon to make the air frigid again. I think that the previous HVAC worker assumed I would know nothing and pay whatever he wanted to charge me. It didn’t work although I do have nippy air again.
