What this means for air conditioning

A category 3 hurricane just swept straight through our neighborhood with amazing force, and it was very scary for everyone here; A tree fell on our neighbor’s home plus we’ve been helping them wipe up for the last couple days at least, and luckily, our home is totally good plus not a single branch or tree fell down in our yard! Everyone in our family is totally good and safe plus we’re just very relieved to have made it through the disaster, and the worst thing for us is that the power is out plus certainly will continue to be out for a week or two. That means no air conditioning. It’s 90 plus degrees outside between the sun and the humidity during the day plus it’s pure torture separate from a cooling system during this time. There aren’t any stores or public buildings that even have power or an AC unit running right now either. The only way every one of us can even begin to get relief from the hot afternoon daylight separate from an air conditioner in our home is to go to the local lake plus go swimming… Of course, every one of us also have to be extra careful with the youngsters since there are certainly plenty of alligators in these lakes. I can’t wait until the power comes back on. I am going to simply lay in our home next to our air conditioner for days after that, refusing to move, however before this hurricane, I had not realized how much every one of us easily and consistently rely on the air conditioner for comfort. There’s no way I would ever live in the south if air conditioners didn’t exist. This was the worst hurricane our little region has seen in about 10 years, hopefully this isn’t a sign that there’s worse to come! I don’t’ even begin to assume I can deal separate from an air conditioner again this entire summer! I’ve had enough!
