We’re taking a dip

A category 3 hurricane just swept right on through our neighborhood with amazing force, but it was very frightening as you can imagine! A tree fell on our neighbor’s cabin plus we’ve been helping them with the clean up for the last couple days! Luckily, our own cabin is totally nice plus not a single tree fell down in our yard even, everyone in our family is totally nice plus we’re just very relieved to have all made it through, but the worst thing for us is that the power is out for a while. Supposedly it will be out for a month or more than one. That means no a/c. It’s well over 90 plus degrees outside during the afternoon plus it’s pure torture to exist in these conditions without a cooling system. There aren’t any stores or public buildings that even seem to have power or an air conditioning system running right now either. The very only way every one of us can get relief from the tepid day sunlight and humidity without an air conditioner is to go to the local lake plus go take a dip and go swimming; Of course, every one of us have to be extra careful with the adolescents and young children since there are genuinely alligators in these lakes. I can’t wait until the freaking power comes back on. I am going to rest in our cabin next to our air conditioner for days and days after that, and before this hurricane, I had not realized just how much every one of us genuinely rely on the air conditioner for comfort. There’s absolutely no way I would live in the south if air conditioners didn’t exist. A world without AC? I’ve had enough!
