My parents usually leave the beach house key in the garage for me. Occasionally I come back on the weekends to do my laundry. The laundry room at the college is constantly crowded on the weekends, and in addition it costs me close to fifteen dollars to do a couple of loads. For the same amount of cash, I can drive home, sleep in a comfortable bed, as well as eat a meal from mom. I knew my parents were going to be away from the beach house for the weekend. That meant no cooked meals from mom. I was planning to do laundry and then order a pizza for dinner. When I arrived on Saturday around 6 in the morning, I was surprised the key was not under the mat. I looked under the door in addition to the mat, but I could not find the key. I decided to call my dad, but I got the voicemail. I texted my mom, and that is when I found out that the A/C was broken. However, they had already called an A/C repair supplier, but they weren’t able to come until Tuesday. My dad said the key to the beach house was in the main house, but the A/C was not going to keep me particularly cool. I was hoping to stay in the beach house, because there are no stairs. I fell playing baseball this week, which caused me to twist my ankle. I didn’t want to climb some stairs to get to the bedroom. Unfortunately, the A/C was going to keep me in the main house all afternoon. My friends decided to come on a different weekend, since all of us could not hang out in the beach house.
