Energy costs and where they go

Living on a remote island has forever been legitimately appealing to me; I was looking for a change of pace plus these appealing plots of floating land gave me just that.  I found out that this could be a reality for me after I moved to the northern region of the country. This section had a chain of small islands about four to ten miles off the coast.   I found the perfect house as well as island for me after 6 months of intensive searching. Because being secluded was the major appeal of this home, I had many inspections completed on the house in order to prevent needing emergency home repairs while in the freezing winters.  One of the services that I paid close attention to was given by our heating and air conditioning supplier. It was necessary for me to know that the oil furnace was in good working order, or if there were any parts that needed to be replace or repaired to ensure that the heating system would run efficiently while in the upcoming Winter months.  Also, it was imperative that I eliminated any opportunity of a house fire due to the faulty oil furnace. The heating and air conditioning repair worker tested the air filter in the oil furnace–it was filled with dust plus debris and had to be changed instantly before the oil heater system could be used. I made a mental note that this was something that I could do regularly to keep my energy cost low.  The heating specialist continued with a legitimately thorough inspection of my heating and air conditioning system. Now that the oil furnace has been serviced, I feel legitimately comfortable that my secluded life was off to a good warm start.
