Recently every one of us had a terrifying incident happen involving a busted sub pump plus wastewater flooding in our finished basement. Every one of us lost a full bedroom, bathroom, plus half the lower kitchen to the destruction. Our building owner is super frugal plus didn’t want to replace or repair anything–he will cut any corner he can find. But every one of us weren’t having it; poor repairs could mean mold plus toxic waste harming the health of the roommates plus our pets. Fortunately, every one of us were able to come at him with a wealth of information plus more or less forced him to have an Heating plus Air Conditioning inspection. Every one of us wanted to suppose for sure that the vents plus air ducts were safe, plus whether they needed to be cleaned or completely gutted. One month later, every one of us had our Heating plus Air Conditioning contractor walk through. He had to wear hazmat gear, as the maintenance workers were still waiting on asbestos test results on 1 of the walls. The Heating plus Air Conditioning repair worker was easily thorough plus every one of us all applauded his efforts–that basement was disgusting plus no 1 liked having to go down there for even a few hours. But he was down there for almost 2 hours going over every inch of the air ducts plus Heating plus Air Conditioning plan for signs of destruction. He reported back to us safely upstairs that while it would need to be professionally cleaned plus a few lines needed duct sealing, the plan had not sustained any major destruction. Two weeks later, the came back to clean plus maintenance the oil furnace air ducts, plus our building owner paid the bill without complaint. The Heating plus Air Conditioning contractor told our building owner that if every one of us hadn’t urged him to inspect the air duct, the oil furnace could have sustained permanent destruction plus required a full replacement. Every one of us ended up saving our building owner currency!
