I can tell the house is being built

When I was just four years old, my parents made the decision to move all the way from the Northeast to the very deep south. My dad had found a new job that promised growth and solid opportunities which weren’t available to him here. The job was turning out great for him, and they were able to purchase a very affordable condo due to flooding in the area driving the costs of other homes very far down! However, what my young parents were not aware of was that their older condo was keeping a few unsavory secrets. The condo was built in 1975, which is outdated by southern standards, but to some was practically new depending on how old the people you were talking to were. My parents were also a very young couple, so it’s safe to say they bite off more than they could chew. The old condo also had an rusty Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C uint, which our mom and dad were ill-equipped to take proper care of. They had never had central air conditioner before, as most homes in the North only come equipped with central heating. especially during this time in the early 90’s. This little perfect storm of inconveniences allowed for a leak in the air duct to be ignored as a leak in our roof. it hadn’t been checked on in more than six years, so cleary this had to be the problem. When they called a professional roofer and were told there were no concerns with the roof, they had to reconsider. One day my dad army crawled into the attic and what he found was scary the real problem. Soaking wet insulation due to the leaking Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C, left to grow mold in the blazing hot space. from then on my parents always looked for the help of Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C repairman.
