After I got my first job when I was in high school, I knew that one day I wanted to start my own business and be my own boss one day. I really hated the idea of having somebody who I didn’t really like much or respect telling me what to do all day. Working from my home office had had its ups and downs. Creating and running a business from the ground up can be a challenging thing to manage mostly because every aspect of the business in in your hands. In the office where I do the majority of my work, I have all sorts of cool items in there. I recently just broke my coffee table, so I have been using my mini heating and cooling unit as the stand for my coffee in the morning. My wife keeps telling me to stop doing that because I could damage the expensive heating unit, but I trust myself. This past weekend while I was working, I sneezed really hard and the vibration knocked the boiling hot coffee into the mini heating and cooling unit. This thing was so powerful and cost efficient and I had ruined it. I could tell that it wasn’t going to turn back in the moment the coffee tipped over. It began to make this bizzare buzzing sound as if a hive of bees was trapped inside of this a/c unit. I called up the HVAC company who I had purchased it from and told them what happened. They felt bad so they said I could switch the unit out for half the price of my first one. It’s a great deal that I’m thankful for, and I definitely learned my lesson about where to place my coffee.
