It seems like moving out of your parent’s home is the epitome of young adulthood plus starting out on your own, then living on your own for the first time can be kind of frightening; it is a thrill however frightening, but there are multiple reasons for this: being young, being a woman, just lack of comprehension. The world can be a frightening, cruel locale especially to the young, however i recently moved out after graduating university plus have discovered multiple things, then electric bills can get honestly high without you even realizing. Toilets tend to run when you least expect it. If you want a prayer of saving money, you need to learn to cook, but one thing I found out the difficult way that I had not known was that air conditioning temperature controls have batteries. I honestly thought they were all electric; they are attached to the wall after all plus have multiple wires. That made sense to me. I discovered they were not when a light came on our temperature control. It randomly showed up a single afternoon plus I did not guess what it meant. “BATT” is what it said in bold, black, blinking font. In a panic, I called our mom plus asked her. I felt stupid, as she explained that I had to call the maintenance people plus have them change the batteries in our temperature control in order for it to work. I had not thought of this as I do not guess I had ever seen batteries changed on the temperature control at home, then well, now I know, temperature controls are indeed not electric plus need the batteries changed.
