Things have gotten very bad

In our bathroom we have tile floor, I mean the real 12 x 12 tiles, none of that face stuff. They are beautiful and almost perfect, except the darn things are so cold. In the morning, I wake up at 6:30 am and where I live, it is often a very cold morning. I turn the alarm off, I stretch, I walk to the bathroom from my carpeted floor and BAM, my feet are instantly frozen. Our bathroom tile is so cold it almost hurts to walk on them. The heater is on in the house and it’s working wonderfully, why are my floors so cold? Even after a hot shower they are still cold. I told my husband I need heated floors and he told me to put my slippers on. Well, after our friend down the road got some and we felt them first hand, my husband is now actually considering it. It is amazing the difference it makes. Sure, the heater on in the house makes the air feel nice and toasty but what about our feet? A working HVAC system can only take you so far. I want my feet to feel as warm and cozy as the rest of me does. I can’t believe my husband is considering it now. I am so glad that I talked my friends into getting the heated floors first. Of course, my husband doesn’t need to know that part. All he needs to know is he won’t have my cold feet poking him when I get into the bed anymore.
