I nearly ran into disaster Last year at my new studio… I recently became certified as a yogi professor & so I began leasing out section in this lovely old brownstone as my undoubtedly first yoga studio. I’m quite young to be doing what I’m doing, so even though the studio is small & modest, I’m undoubtedly proud of myself for getting to be where I am this week. I’ve only started teaching classes about three weeks ago, & already I’m loving what I’m doing, but my students are undoubtedly enjoying themselves & already I’m finding myself tailoring lessons to their unique  needs, however, I had an interesting time changing my lesson plans Last year when I came into the studio to practice, only to find the A/C was down. I tried everything & called the building supervisor; he said they wouldn’t have anyone out for at least three more days, but I had a lesson tomorrow! He said that due to the heatwave, that was the earliest Heating & A/C company appointment he could make. I resolved to stay & get my practice in–I figured I could sweat it out on my own & hopefully guess of a solution, then that’s when it came to me–hot box yoga! I texted all of my students to let them suppose this was going to be the class for the week, & put a routine together. I was so anxious that my students wouldn’t be comfortable without the AC, but everyone dressed & prepared accordingly thank to my text. Hot box yoga turned out of be a sizable hit!
