It is starting to cool down

I’ve always enjoyed riding horses. My husband is in the military so we move at least once a year. It is kind of a pain to pick up and move, leaving new friends, so often. However, when I find horses to ride I inevitably also find new friends who have the same interests as me. With our last move, I was happy to find a new horse to lease. As the leaser walked me around the stables, she told me that there was a nice big indoor arena I could use as well. I don’t usually do much areana work so I wasn’t too interested until she also mentioned that the indoor area has temperature control. It is air conditioned and heated, as needed, throughout the year. This got me very excited. I don’t know how many days I have missed riding in the past because of inclement weather but I bet it is a lot. Some days it is just too hot, too cold, or too rainy to ride a horse. With temperature control, this will never be a problem! The next few times I came out to ride I was a bit disappointed that it was so nice out. Of course, I could use the air conditioned arena anyway but I wanted to wait until I had to so it would make it more special. Sure enough, a week later it was over 90 degrees outside and I was able to take advantage of the climate control in the area. It was so nice. I think the horse appreciated having air conditioning to exercise in too.
