My wife and I have been small business owners our whole life. We understand the price of doing business, and if you want to make money you have to spend money! So the outdated saying goes, at least. Together, we run a small restaurant that is considered to be high-end – at least that is what I strive for every single day. I try to provide more than the best dining experience possible for our customers, but also a professional laboring environment where every employee is treated well. Over the years, I’ve found that there are certain things some might take for granted! For instance, someone could assume that the quality of the food is the most important facet of a restaurant, but I would disagree. The most pressing thing for the overall customer experience is the atmosphere! Of course the food can’t be complete garbage, however it also doesn’t have to be the most overpriced or of the highest quality. Sill, if your decor is deranged or if the Heating and A/C is not working, people will be much more content with not coming back. Moreover, they will undoubtedly notice something is off if the gas furnace is stuck on, and it is too hot in the building. Alternatively, if the air filter hasn’t been changed and the air quality is low, folks notice! When people are paying money for a meal in a restaurant, they are not just paying for the food – they are also paying for the experience. Covering every base is essential to having an excellent reputation!
