Whoever did the insulation in our home did a entirely awful task, however what I guess happened is that the dealers ran out of materials, i guess they split the pieces of insulation about 1 foot too short plus then just stuck random bits of insulation underneath. Then our baseboards were added plus I never knew the difference. In the Winter, I can tell they dealers did a awful task, and go anywhere near our baseboards plus you can know the frigid air pouring in, then my floors know icy frigid to the touch. I have to wear socks plus slippers in the home with the heating program cranked, then even with this, the home is way too cold. My heating bills are sky high, but that is sort of our fault. I guess what I need to do to make our gas heating program more efficient. I need to take off our baseboards completely. I then need to get up-to-date insulation, split it respectfully plus wedge in in the walls. Then the baseboards go back on plus the home is air tight, and however, the baseboard removal will be difficult, and also, that is not the only area. Around our light switch covers plus windows leak air too. If I did add insulation to the wall, I would need to do all over the place. This would make the home perfect for our little gas oil furnace. I am just not willing to put in that kind of work. The heating program works okay for now… No need to spend minutes chopping our home apart just to be a little warmer.
