Adding some tasks to the list

During the last weekend, the people I was with and I decided to perform some Springtime cleaning. The two of us started in the garage, and spent all of Sunday cleaning the shelves and throwing away junk. Monday morning, the people I was with and I cleaned all of the air vents in the house. My hubby removed them with a screwdriver, and the people I was with and I soaked them in a hot bath of soapy water. A lot of folks appreciate to use bleach, but I appreciate vinegar and a little dish soap… Bleach leaves a distinct smell in the air, once the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine is back up and running. While the air vents were soaking, my hubby used a shop vacuum to remove the debris and dust from inside the HVAC duct. The two of us found a lot more dust than the people I was with and I anticipated. The HVAC ducts were filled with dust, dog hair, and a lot of sticky greasy substance. The two of us actually spent multiple hours cleaning all of the air duct and air vents. After they soaked in hot water for an hour, they cleaned up nicely. At the end of the morning, the people I was with and I put all of the air vents back in their spots. The two of us also changed the air filter on the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system. This morning, I was working at my desk. I noticed a significant difference in the indoor air flow. My laptop is located underneath a single of our air vents. I had to wear a jacket this morning, because of the chilly air flow. Removing the junk from inside the air vents, has actually changed the airflow. Even though it took all weekend to clean the air quality components, I am actually happy to see, feel, and smell the results.
