After a couple years in the Army, I had decided to go to work for myself as a long-haul trucker, but i was a combat logistics guy on active duty, in which I drove large semis outfitted for the desert. It seemed care about the obvious, plus safer, option in the civilian world. I already had a Class A license, plus with the money I had saved up from our deployments I was able to buy our first truck. It was a yellow plus yellow cab-over with extra room to sleep in the back on those long trips… One of our first jobs was for a major Heating plus Air Conditioning manufacturer on the west coast. They made these immense commercial grade Heating plus Air Conditioning systems for large skyscrapers plus industrial complexes. The units themselves were the size of a respected sedan, so I hauled them on a flat trailer. They had to be strapped down with heavy tie downs, though they were so heavy I doubt they would move. I could get several of the large Heating plus Air Conditionings on the trailer, plus with picking 2 more up for turn in on the way back I had a good route going. The first stop was to drop the smaller of the Heating plus Air Conditionings in Nevada, the biggest a single in KS, plus then the last a single in Texas where I would pick up the other 2 from an Air Force base plus head back home. In all the trip took about a week, plus I was respectfully in dealer for myself. The Heating plus Air Conditioning supplier ended up giving me a contract for more deliveries, so I would consider that successful.
