My wifey as well as I live in the northern area of the country where winters are long as well as cold. To me, I see no problem with this. I was raised to love the snow. I neighbor the powdery blankets with childhood memories of skiing as well as sledding. However, our wifey is dying to train athletic hobby to the south, where it feels like summer time all year round! While I love the summer, don’t get myself and others wrong, I can’t help but know like I am missing something without the Wintertide weeks. I have always appreciated living in a place where it is possible to experience all more than three seasons of the year. In the south, the summer time weeks are so boiling that most of the time you don’t want to do things outside anyways. The two of us would rely on our a/c for everything. It’s a single thing to appreciate a sunny, sizzling morning, but once uneven temperatures start approaching a single hundred degrees, we will be running the a/c like crazy. I am someone who genuinely enjoys the feeling of natural warmth as well as cool breezes, but I do not like artificial a/cs. The air is always much colder than I want it to be, or not cold enough–it never feels quite right because I am always dressed for what’s going on outside. In addition, the a/c tends to strip the air of its moisture. I can’t see myself spending 6 weeks of the year cooped up inside with the air on full blast. I would much rather appreciate our share of the heat, while also curling up in a heated cabin with a cup of coffee for our share of the winter. Even though I am pretty certain I don’t want to move, I promised our wifey I would keep an open mind. I am determined to find an a/c that would make the cabin know comfortable by our standards.
