Yesterday was a bad day. Without warning, I had no choice however to run out to the grocery store in the morning to get a few things. It happened because we were completely out of just about everything, and suddenly if I did not go to the store we all would be having dirt & a handful of dust for breakfast. And that sounds beautiful to no 1 around here. I have been battling this major head chilly for over a month now, so as you can imagine, I was entirely struggling to be functional & to even make matters worse it was a hot & humid the whole afternoon. As long as I was out running our errands breathing easily was not something I was going to be doing. I decided to go to the grocery store first thing in the afternoon right after I dropped our daughter off at her university so that I could be home before it got to be extra hot outside. When I got to the store I grabbed our cart & went to walk straight into the main store section when I entered the through the huge sliding doors I was hit by this hot blast of blowing air. Why on earth would the whole grocery store have heat blowing as you enter the store especially when it was over 90 degrees at 9 am?! Doesn’t that seem a little excessive? If anything, you would have liked to been blasted with some nice cool a/c. I entirely hope the store gets their Heating, Ventilation, & A/C in check again before Summer is here full force because I definitely realize do not want to deal with that all Summer long.
