That was a brave decision

Have you ever met a person who is almost always cold? I work in a very small office, and my boss is almost always freezing. It drives me a little bit crazy, to tell you the truth. Right now, it is winter, and the office building we work in has the central heating on. That is fine, but he is always turning the temperature on the thermostat up to about 78 degrees. I am so hot most of the time that I just want to scream. Yesterday, I was wearing a sleeveless dress under a blazer. The heater was blasting so much that I needed to take my blazer off just to keep from fainting from the heat. I was working away, and before I knew it, there he was out there in the lobby area just flipping that thermostat up even higher. He told me he was feeling so cold. I wanted to tell him just to go home, but of course, he is my boss and I did not have the nerve. So there I was, working away in a sleeveless dress in the middle of winter, just wishing I could turn on the a/c! It seems kind of funny that different people have such different internal thermostats, doesn’t it? You would think that 70 degrees feels the same to me as it does to you, but that is not the case. People are always messing around with the thermostat trying to find the perfect temperature for themselves, and that always leaves someone else wishing for air conditioning or heating or whatever. No two people are ever happy with the same thermostat setting.
