Something fishy is going on

I love my husband, I really do. But he’s a fisherman at heart, and if you know someone like him who is a fisherman at heart, then you know that I have to put up with a lot to be married to him! First of all, whenever he has a free moment, he always wants to pack up all his poles and rods and gear and head out to the river. He brings home all kinds of gross bait and worms and wants to leave it in the refrigerator. Plus, he tracks in dirt and mud and sand from his fishing excursions all over my house. As if that weren’t enough for me to deal with, he actually wants to cook the fish that he catches. And this is a whole other problem in regards to the air quality in our home. If you want high air quality in your home, you don’t want to go around cooking fish every week! It doesn’t matter how good your air filters are in your HVAC system, because the fishy smell lasts and lasts. I’ve been changing out our air filters every single week this fishing season, because I can’t stand the smell! But just changing out the air filters doesn’t seem to be doing the trick. I told my husband that if insists on cooking fish in the house all the time, we’re going to have to turn the heating and the A/C off and just open up all of the windows until the season is completely over. Either that, or he’s going to have to spring for a whole home air purification system.
