I consistently get tepid when I sleep. People have often asked myself and others how I can get to sleep separate from a heavy blanket or comforter on our bed; But honestly, I consistently end up kicking off any covers that I go to sleep with, even if it’s just a thin sheet! I study this study that says that the best sleeping is done when you sleep in a bedroom that is around 65 degrees, cooler room temperatures consistently help myself and others to sleep better, I know, but apparently this is also science! There are some ways that I love to keep our body temperature cool enough for a fantastic night’s sleep, but first of all, I set our digital programmable control machine down to 65 degrees! When the control machine programming runs its schedule, it automatically runs the a/c until the beach house is 65 degrees, then of course, in the Winter time, it doesn’t let the gas furnace run to get the beach house any warmer than that; At first I didn’t have a programmable control machine as well as I had to remember to turn the a/c down every single night before bed, which became kind of a pain! Now, though, I don’t genuinely have to worry about it as well as it’s easier for myself and others to stay cool as well as get a good night’s sleep. Apparently, when your core body temperature decreases, it’s a signal that it’s time for sleeping, lowering the temperature in your room lowers your core body temperature too, which means it’s time for sleeping! I assume this is so interesting since I’ve consistently loved to sleep when it’s frigid outside. Now it all makes sense to me.
