My fiance said that he’d try to patch the leak as best as possible, and he did.
I’m super lucky because my vehicles have always lasted myself for years and years. There’s never been a time where I’ve needed to replace an engine or transmission. Of course I’ve had to do some small repair work and maintenance, but nothing major. I’m blessed by this! Last week, something finally went wrong with my ten year outdated truck, and that was the air conditioner. I thought that the truck would outlive me, and it still might. I had my fiance try and replace the air filter to see if that was what was giving me problems, but it wasn’t. It was nice because the charge had an orange dye in it that obviously displayed any leaks in the line! At first, we couldn’t find any leaks, and apparently the charge only worked for a limited time, so both of us were stumped. My fiance bought another bottle of the charge with the orange dye, but this time he found the orange dye leaking out. My fiance said that he’d try to patch the leak as best as possible, and he did. Thank goodness he patched it for me, because I haven’t had any trouble with the air conditioner in the past few weeks. My fiance suggested finding a backup AC line replacement because the patchwork wouldn’t last for long. I found one online for a good price, so I put it in my cart for the time being. I’m hoping I won’t end up needing it in the next few months.
