Unfortunately, I am dealing with HVAC copper crooks

I found a cage of sorts which will easily fit over the condenser cover and lock to the concrete pad

Today was a major tipping point for me. Perhaps I say that too often but I’m really feeling it this week. Certain days come along with circumstances which sort of feel like they change your entire perspective. I had that happen to me this week. I’m just your Average Joe who goes to work, modifies the Heating and Air Conditioning and gets to work. I’ve always attempted to do the right thing by all I come in contact with. Rolling with the punches is a pretty major part of it too I realize. But it was a strenuous reality when I saw what I did when I came back to my dwelling from work this day. I came in the dwelling and knocked the temperature control down a bit as I commonly do. But nothing happened. Checking the fuse box proved there was no power complication with the Heating and Air Conditioning. I thought perhaps the condenser was frozen so I went outside to check everything out. What I found was a real crime scene. The guts of my condenser component were littered across my sod. I couldn’t really believe what I was seeing. At first I couldn’t comprehend what had happened. But then it came to me. A thief had basically destroyed my condenser just to get to the copper inside. I had heard of this happening in other areas but now I was the victim. So now, I’ll have to get a truly up-to-date condenser component and then lock it down. After I reached out to the Heating and Air Conditioning appliance supplier and the insurance guy I looked online for something to prevent this in the future. I found a cage of sorts which will easily fit over the condenser cover and lock to the concrete pad. Yep, this week there was a pretty major shift in perspective. And, it certainly wasn’t a good shift.
