Bee hives in the attic

I had a great-great uncle who passed away a few months ago.

Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers, but it was not a big deal for me.

Before meeting the lawyer, who showed me a picture of my uncle, I had literally never seen or heard of him before in my life. My folks had never met him, either, so we were all confused why he would leave me his house in his will. Of course it was too late to ask my uncle why, but my thinking was why look a gift horse in the mouth? The house needed renovation, but it was a free house! It turns out there was a fairly sizable colony of bees in the attic, which was a little frightening. As I was investigating the second floor I heard a deep humming sound coming from the attic, which I found literally thousands of bees! As you might imagine I was disconcerted and didn’t want to stay there until the bee problem had been corrected. I had to decide what I wanted to do though, because I know that bees are a helpful kind of insect. I wanted to find a company that would perform a bee removal and transfer the hives and honeycombs to a bee farm, where they could be useful. The first guy I talked to only did extermination, and said I would have to vacuum up all the dead bees myself when he was done. I need to find someone who will do a removal and relocation of the bees, not kill them!
