It’s unusual that some AC’s are silent while others are as loud as an engine

My wifey plus I spent close to 6 months trying to find a suitable lake house on the local market.

The two of us were dead set on not moving because of the proximity to both tasks plus having most of our family within a 20 third driving radius.

Needless to say, we’re rooted in our community. Understandably, we stopped at nothing to find a home to buy after growing sleepy of rent payments getting swallowed by the void plus nothing to show for it in the end. Because of our impatience, we were a bit scary in buying this unique house. The two of us rushed through inspections plus decided to forgo necessary remodelling simply so we could meet our transport out deadline in our rental—otherwise we’d be stuck with another annual lease. Once we had moved all of our belongings plus furniture inside, the issues came to light 1 by 1. The walls needed new paint, a portion of the wood flooring in the third study room was severely disfigured, there was an electrical short in a kitchen outlet, plus most frustrating of all—the a/c is extremely loud. This air handler is by far the loudest unit I have ever used for indoor weather conditions control. It’s louder than the dehumidifiers I have used in the past plus it’s even louder than the large portable a/c we were using in our previous rental. The portable a/c regularly disrupted our wifey’s sleep, so by the time we realized how loud this central a/c is, it came as a significant surprise. Thankfully, we spoke to a local Heating plus Air Conditioning corporation plus have many quotes on new systems, all of which are much quieter than this new beast. Plus, it’s almost 15 years old, so it’s towards the end of its lifetime anyway.
