The worst scenario here

Not knowing what else to do, I packed up our things and headed towards a tea shop in town

Yesterday was by far one of the most frustrating and unfortunate afternoons of our life. I work remote for a living, so every single afternoon I wake up, make some coffee, and head to our office to get some work done. There are numerous people that would kill to be in our shoes and I don’t take it for granted. On that certain afternoon but, I woke up feeling covered in a layer of sweat. After looking around the house I realized that the a/c unit had broken down in the middle of the evening and was no longer providing cool air to the home. I hastily called over to the local Heating, Ventilation and A/C heating and cooling corporation for an emergency repair, but they told me that they were completely booked for the afternoon. Not knowing what else to do, I packed up our things and headed towards a tea shop in town. It sure wasn’t going to be the quiet and focused work environment I wanted, but it would get the job done. Or at least I thought it would! Upon arrival to the tea shop I discovered that it felt just as moderate and muggy here due to all of the people mingling about, and the WIFI signal was so weak that I could hardly send an text. The frustration from earlier mixed with the intense head had me so exasperated that I nearly threw our iPad across the tea shop! Luckily cooler heads prevailed and I decided not to work for the afternoon and head to a theater that had some fresh cooling system and could take our mind off of this annoyed, hot Summer afternoon.
