Sundays are my favorite day of the week! It’s the one day that I am guaranteed to be off each week, so I always try to take advantage of it by getting out of the house and venturing somewhere new. Last week, I ended up in the city, so I decided to check out a new museum that had just opened about a month earlier. I was so excited to see it, but it was freezing cold in there! I’m not sure why they had the air conditioner running at full blast, but it was hard for me to concentrate with the temperature so low. To make matters worse, I didn’t have a jacket or a sweater, so I had to endure the A/C the entire time. As I was trying to soak in all of the cool art and sculptures, I would find myself distracted by how cold I was getting. I definitely hadn’t expected the museum to feel like that! While there were some pretty impressive pieces at the museum and I thoroughly enjoyed looking at everything, I was beyond ready to get outside by the time I had gone through all of the rooms. I would like to go back there again at some point, but there’s no way that I would return without bringing a jacket along next time. The air conditioner was just too much to handle without one, and I suspect that they keep the thermostat around that temperature all of the time. I guess having the A/C run like that beats having it get too hot, but it sure was chilly in there.
