After a few more months struggling there I was let go
Back when I was younger I was desperate to find a job that would pay me well right out of high school. For a few years I was bouncing around from place to place just trying to find a job that was the right fit. After a while I was able to find a job working at the local HVAC ventilation, heating and cooling company in town. The guys working there were extremely friendly and welcomed me with open arms. The main reason why I accepted the job working as a certified HVAC repair tech in the first place was mostly because I thought that it would be easy for me. At the time I had a vast amount of experience working on heating and cooling units for my friends and family and I would be able to be active all day rather than sitting in an office. After my first few weeks on the job however I learned the hard way that this job wasn’t nearly as easy as I thought it would be. Despite being young and fit I ended up really struggling to make it to the end of the work day almost every single day. I was also having a hard time getting along with customers, especially the feisty ones. I had been taught to always treat the customers with kindness no matter the situation but my hot head personality wasn’t allowing any of that. After a few more months struggling there I was let go. Most people would be upset that they lost their job but to be honest I was feeling relieved. I am now on the hunt for my next job and I have a good feeling I will soon figure out what my calling is.
