Guitar collection needs superb air conditions

My sister frequently travels the world with only a guitar as well as backpack… She has a whole guitar collection that she stores at my house.

When she leaves, she just picks 1 as well as sticks with it.

I am allowed to hang onto the guitars because I treat them right. I don’t play, even though I appreciate the look of them. I have a whole room that is set up for the guitar collection. I had a custom furniture woman make shelving units within the walls for each guitar. They can kneel up off the ground as well as be displayed. They are hidden in the wall so dust doesn’t get into them. I also invested in superb Heating as well as Air Conditioning unit for the room. Wood as well as electronics can seriously get injured by bad indoor air conditions. Too much humidity in the air quality causes wood to swell; Dry indoor air conditions will cause wood to crack. Moisture allows for bugs, mold as well as mildew. Dryness permits static shock! So I have both a dehumidifier as well as humidifier that work with my Heating as well as Air Conditioning unit. The Heating as well as Air Conditioning is just for the guitar room. In the Summer the A/C as well as dehumidifier keep the space an even temperature. In the Wintertide the humidifier works with the heater. Nothing is ever disfigured as well as the space is kept perfect. The last thing I want is for my sister to come back home to a ruined guitar collection. I am hoping someday I will inherit a few of them. If not, I am just ecstatic with keeping them in ideal condition for when she does want to play them.
