When I decided to get a roommate, the purpose was to save money on my utility bills and rent.
I really wanted to start patting my savings account, and I had been quite a while since I was able to make any major contributions.
My living expenses were simply too high compared to my measly paycheck. I have been trying for quite some time to cut down on my monthly bills and grocery expenses, but it seemed like I had reached a stalling point. I simply needed another set of hands and finances to help me with the overhead costs of living in a medium sized home. I decided to put out an ad on Craigslist for a new roommate, and hoped for the best. Well, when I got a roommate to the expectation was to save money, not spend more on my energy bills each month. The person I wound up with has a few complications. They happen to be a complete and total HVAC addict. Everyday, I leave the house to go to my job and they sit around at home. This means, they have full control over the indoor air quality appliances. Unfortunately, we have very different opinions when it comes to utilizing indoor air handling devices. Personally, I believe we should set the thermostat programming and leave it alone. On the other hand, they seem to think that it’s necessary to make tiny adjustments to the air temperature settings throughout the day. The air temperature is consistently adjusted all day long, and my energy bill is constantly whining. I think I need a new plan, starting with an eviction notice
