The least used appliance in our condo is absolutely the a/c.
I have lived in this condo for nearly 10 years, plus I don’t think that I have ever turned the a/c on… Obviously, I didn’t buy the a/c because I would never waste our money on something that I never planned on using, however the only reason that the a/c is in our condo is that it is a rental.
The owner of the condo installed a central a/c in all of her apartments so that all of us could have a/cs without having any window a/cs. I am sure that it is a kind gesture, but it isn’t very useful to me, so I never turn the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C component on. I never had an a/c while growing up, plus I think that that has something to do with our decision about never turning on the a/c. When you spend your entire life without an a/c, you realize that you don’t need it. Why would I spend money for an a/c that I assume that I can be happy without? In fact, I am convinced that using your a/c is the only thing that makes you dissatisfied about not having an a/c. The more that you use one, the more that you have to use one. Soon, you will never be happy without air conditioner, plus you have to waste all your money on either electricity or Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C maintenance. When the next woman moves in, maybe they will prefer the a/c, but I never will.
