It was time for a new system

I’ve been in the middle of a renovation on the condo we just bought, and when our Grandma got too aged to rent and maintain her condo, she expressed her desire to get rid of it.

On the bright side, she let me purchase it from her for a fair price so I could fix it up and then sell it for a higher profit, and i’ve never renovated anything before, but the condo is small and only needs a bunch of cosmetic work.

The number one thing I did was, rip out the carpet and install hardwood floors. Following this step, I tore all the wallpaper off the walls. After that was taken care of, I installed a modern sink and bathtub into the bathroom. These few swings made a pressing difference! I had some cash leftover in my price budget, so I decided to replace the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system. When I searched all of the property details, I noticed the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C component was over eleven years old, so it needed upgraded. I don’t think the gas furnace would’ve survived another full winter without even needing replaced anyway. The temperature control on the inside also needed a refresh! Instead of a modern and sleek temperature control, the condo had one of those old, brass dials. I’m sure it would’ve worked great if I left it, however it dated the whole place. I replaced it with a modern, programmable temperature control that blended in with the modern interior. With the modern cosmetic swings, the upgraded Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system, and the modern temperature control, this condo has a much more expensive price tag. I’m still deciding if I want to renovate anything else!
