The boiler turned out to be good

When our husband & I moved into our forever beach house I burst into tears, then both of us got the beach house for a deal.

There was dog fur all over the floors & stuck to the ceiling.

There was a closet that contained literal garbage in it. The walls were falling down & the floors were coming up, and every room in the condo was a mess. The more than one of us literally wrote down a list of things every one of us needed to fix up in order to make the locale liveable, but one of the last things on the list was to get rid of the huge boiler system in our basement. The boiler took up the entire basement, was rusty & I just hated it. It took a few months to clean the condo to the level I was glad with. It took a couple of years to get the walls replaced, floors redone & new appliances put in. By the time everything upstairs was finished & every one of us had the money, our husband & I had relied on the boiler system for years. The boiler was a surprisingly enjoyable heater. I never called for heating service, service or repairs. That huge gas furnace reliably heated the condo all Winter long. The more than one of us decided to leave it in the condo until it died. It took about several years before it just one morning would not turn back on, and what a peaceful way to go right? Now I have a gas fireplace in the beach house & it is not half as enjoyable as our boiler.
