A few days ago I was going about our regular corporation doing the dishes plus taking care of some other chores around the house when I started to feel cold; I guess I had not noticed that it was getting progressively chillier inside the new home because I was in the middle of chores, however when I did I went over to check the readout on the thermostat, however according to the thermostat it was 61 degrees inside however the oil furnace was set for 71 degrees. I tried to flip the switch off plus on again, however still nothing happened. It was at this time that I realized that something was wrong with the old oil furnace. I went into the basement to inspect the oil furnace, but nothing looked out of order so I decided to reset the igniter to see if that would help. I turned off the circuit breaker plus then I switched the igniter off for numerous hours as it says in the instruction manual. After a few hours I switched the power back on plus turned the oil furnace on and the thermostat, but still nothing, then either the igniter was shot or something else was wrong. As I had no inkling of how to further proceed from here I called an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professional to take care of the issue; The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professional seemed impressed by the little things I did plus told myself and others I should look into a job as a Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professional; Next he went through a bunch of tests plus figured out that something was totally scorched on the circuit board. That is something I would have never even thought about examining that.
