Working hard on the weekend

Working in those types of conditions sure weren’t easy for us, and to make matters worse the customers that we were supposed to be helping out at the time were extremely frustrated, and not nearly as nice as they usually are

After an extremely long week working at my job the weekend is finally here. While most weeks I end up feeling pretty beat up by the time the weekend comes around, this past week was especially difficult. Early in the week a powerful storm rolled through our town and did some pretty serious damage to some houses. One of the first people to the scene ended up being me as well as my HVAC coworkers. Some of the first responders make sure that people are alive and healthy and we are there to make sure that the house they live in can go back to feeling like home as soon as possible. Thanks to the various amounts of damage that had taken place from the storm many of our customers HVAC systems were out of commission. Working in those types of conditions sure weren’t easy for us, and to make matters worse the customers that we were supposed to be helping out at the time were extremely frustrated, and not nearly as nice as they usually are. Nevertheless we continued chipping away at the work we needed to do, going from house to house and doing the best that we possibly could to replace and repair broken down or damaged HVAC units. I’m not going to lie there is very little acknowledgement in our efforts considering how many people we help out when these emergency citations do happen, but even with that being the case I am still so happy that I get to work in this industry and help people out in a time of need.
