I didn’t notice the gutters until too late

The job wasn’t cheap since I paid for stainless steel gutters that hopefully will last a little longer

I will admit that I am sort of an oblivious person. Everyone jokes that if you want to hide things from me, put it out of my line of sight. I never had any luck finding an Easter basket and I can’t even find canned goods I keep up high. My observational skills are just not that great. I think this is why my gutter repair has gotten to the point of being scary bad. I never look up towards my roof and gutters. I simply walk in and outside the house. I will look down and look at the lawn, but that is it. I then started noticing that my walkway looked really cracked and was always wet. There was mold, water in my basement and then foundation cracks. I started googling online what could be causing all these things. The common factor was a major gutter repair. I went outside and looked up at my gutters and was appalled. They were so clogged with debris and rusted looking it even made me gasp. I immediately got on the phone with a roofing business that also does gutter repair. When the guy came over he was appalled by how rotted my gutters were. They couldn’t be saved. He had to rip off every piece and install a brand new gutter system. The job wasn’t cheap since I paid for stainless steel gutters that hopefully will last a little longer. The gutter issue is now fixed but I have a messed up walkway, foundation and gross basement. This is a disaster.
