I’m sure if the current property owners want a smart thermostat, they can purchase 1 on their own
My wifey & I were certainly delighted when the people I was with and I managed to sell our home. The people I was with and I were able to close on everything & the people I was with and I already had our home ready to move into. Well, while the people I was with and I were moving all of our things out to the moving truck, the people I was with and I had a excruciating accident with the thermostat. The thermostat is right there in the living room section & can be somewhat tricky to get past without bumping into it. When the people I was with and I were moving the heavy living room furniture, our associate absolutely tripped & the furniture slammed into the smart thermostat on the wall & caused it to break! I couldn’t believe it, I paid a fine amount of currency to get that thermostat, but my associate was apologizing like crazy & said she would spend money for the broken thermostat. I told him not to worry about it & said I would handle it. I felt like it was our fault. I should have been more careful too while the people I was with and I were moving that heavy furniture. I just thought it was a shame to have a nice thermostat like that break. I didn’t want to spend a luck for a current thermostat, so I ended up replacing it with a programmable thermostat. I’m sure if the current property owners want a smart thermostat, they can purchase 1 on their own. There actually was nothing in the contract that said they were guaranteed to have a smart thermostat, so I don’t suppose there will be any issues. I certainly hope they are not mad about that smart thermostat, but if they are, I guess I can send them a current smart thermostat.
